Who We Are

A cattery, grooming studio and cat hotel in Kepong and Setia Alam, where every kitten goes home with its lab reports.

Founder Xindy Yu started YuCats in Kepong with one simple idea: cat owners should know exactly what they’re getting. Every kitten has a vet check, a 35-item blood test and genetic screening done while it’s in our care. Every buyer gets a one-to-one session with our team on feeding, grooming and the first weeks at home.

In 2025, the Malaysia Book of Records listed us as the Largest One-Stop Cat Specialty Store. Our Kepong HQ and Setia Alam branch run by the same rules, with FFGA-certified groomers at both.

What We Check Before Your Cat Leaves Our Care

Whether you’re buying a kitten, booking a grooming slot or leaving your cat with us while you travel, here’s what we check, what you get and how we look after them.

Healthy Purebred Kittens with Real Test Results

Our FFGA-certified groomers do everything from simple baths to full lion cuts. We focus on keeping the session calm and stress-free for your cat.

Private, Premium and Luxury Cat Hotel Rooms

Each cat gets its own room, standard or VIP, with no contact with other boarders. We sterilise daily, keep the rooms air-conditioned 24 hours and send you photos every day of the stay.

FFGA-Certified Cat Grooming Without the Rush

Our FFGA-certified groomers use gentle, cat-safe products and check skin, eyes and ears ahead of every bath. Nervous cats are welcome. We take our time and never rush a session.

Our Rules

What We Won't Do

Some of these rules have cost us sales over time. We keep them anyway, because they protect your cat, our other boarders and the trust cat owners place in YuCats.

We WONT’T sell a kitten that hasn’t passed its health checks.

Even if a buyer is ready to pay that day.

We WONT’T board a cat without up-to-date vaccinations.

It keeps your cat, and every other cat staying in our hotel, safe from avoidable illness.

We WONT’T rush a nervous cat through grooming.

If your cat needs a break, we stop and let you know right away. Sometimes that means a second session another day.

We WONT’T promise a kitten will never get sick.

No honest seller can. What we can promise is full health testing ahead of sale, up to RM 200 in vet cost cover for the first 14 days, and a team that answers whenever you call or message us on WhatsApp.
